The Power of Spell Jars - Class
Magick doesn’t always have to include long ceremonies and complicated incantations. Sometimes, you need a simple solution to your magickal problem. Spell jars are a great way to incorporate herbs, stones, trinkets, and other items into your magickal workings. This class is accessible for all magickal folk – from those just beginning to more advanced practitioners.
In class we’ll discuss different ways to cleanse your jars or bottles, how to write a clear, purposeful intention, and how to ‘enchant’ your jar. And we’ll learn about several herbs, stones, and other natural (and some supernatural) elements you can add to your spell jar.
Jars, herbs, and stones will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own, and anything else you’d like to incorporate into your jar.

ABOUT BRIAN
Brian Kowalik is a Concord based writer originally from Buffalo, NY. Raised with stories about creatures and spirits in the woods from his Father's Tuscarora side of the family he was inspired by the tales of things like Thunderbird's and Flying heads to create stories of his own about the native American legends he'd hear from his dad. Working in graphic novels and design for three years his latest project is the horror series Tales From Wajacueda Woods a series that takes place in a small mountain town in West Virginia outside a state park plagued by monsters of native myth.
ABOUT BRIAN’S BOOKS
Series Synopsis: The sleepy mountain town of Wajacueda Springs and its adjacent state park are haunted by monsters of the Native Wajacuedans legend. A park ranger is feeding monsters to maintain balance and a local Coroner seeks to stop him. This series is aimed at horror and cryptid fans as well as lovers of Native American myth.
This book series is being made to highlight Native American legends and monsters I would hear about from members of my family who lived on the Tuscarora reservation. I’ve always loved these stories and wanted to pass them along in some way to others. Comics being my medium of choice with original stories around the monsters I would hear about. Monsters are taken from all different tribes' beliefs to show off a variety of legends and beliefs.

Witchin' in the Kitchen - Class
Kitchen Witchery combines domestic arts and sciences with the science and art of magick. Many of the herbs, spices, and tools used to prepare a meal, plant a home garden, or keep house are the same as those used to create magickal spells, charms, talismans, and other enchanted items.
We’ll discuss all of this, the history of the domestic witch, herbs, teas, magickal kitchen tools, and more during this two hour class.

About Angel
Angel has been fascinated with witchcraft since she learned to read, starting with fiction/fantasy books about witchcraft. She was intrigued enough to eventually check out a book from her local library about pendulum magic. Those books, along with her lifelong belief in the divine, ghosts, angels, etc., inspired her to dive into witchcraft 3 years ago.
An eclectic witch, Angel is also a reiki practitioner, custom sigil creator, tarot and pendulum reader, and crystal and sound healer. She loves all things divination and intuition-based and will be teaching several classes at SereniTea Emporium. She is also a crafter and owns Morningstar Healing and Magick, in which she offers craft items, readings, and healings.
Angel has been part of several projects to promote education and positivity about mental health. Through her work as a healer, she has helped those who have mental illness and those whose family members struggle with mental illness.
Her goal in life is simple: Help others using the skills she has acquired and continues to develop.
